About Payton

Hi! I'm Payton. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, I discovered my passion for performing when my parents played me Judy Garland's Somewhere Over the Rainbow at age 4. I was blessed to grow up in the Queen City's vibrant arts scene and had access to a variety of arts education. From youth choirs to acrobatics, I tried it all before auditioning for High School Musical at my junior high. It took a weekend of playing Sharpay Evans to officially catch the bug...

I am currently based in Boston, Massachusetts, where I’m pursuing a BFA in Musical Theater at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. During my time at BoCo, I’ve had the opportunity to perform in mainstage productions such as Cinderella, Something Rotten, and City of Angels, along with several student-directed plays.

Beyond performing, I find other creative avenues through songwriting, choreographing with friends, and practicing Vinyasa yoga.

Though I proudly carry my Midwestern roots, I’ve developed a love for New England, especially in the summer months. I graduate in May and will be performing in Grease this summer at Theatre by the Sea. I plan on moving to NYC in August!
